I get it. I’ve been on the receiving end of notes many, many times.

That’s why I always approach each script reading assignment with the goal to provide feedback that helps in better realizing the story that writer wants to tell. It’s my job to enhance what’s already on the page - not to morph it into the screenplay I would write. I’ve been so impressed so many times with the talent and imagination of other writers and consider it an honor to read their work.
